Tooth Reshaping: Creating a Pleasing Contour to Your Teeth

Teeth come in all shapes and sizes, but if you have a tooth that seems too long, too pointy or otherwise poorly shaped, we can help with tooth reshaping procedures. This cosmetic procedure will change the shape of your tooth so it better fits the contours of your mouth,

How Tooth Reshaping Works

Tooth reshaping is a relatively simple cosmetic dentistry procedure designed to improve your appearance and your bite. Before the procedure, we will take images of your teeth to see what part of the tooth needs to be removed to achieve the desired shape. In most cases, the procedure removes only the enamel, or the hard covering of the tooth, not the pulp, which means it does not cause much discomfort. Some patients will still feel anxious about the procedure, and in these cases we offer deep IV sedation with the care of our Licensed Nurse Anesthetist.

Minimal Recovery or Discomfort

Sometimes teeth can be sensitive to temperature extremes, but this is a temporary problem. Throughout the procedure we will work hard to keep you comfortable, so you can walk away with beautiful, properly shaped teeth and no pain.

If you are not happy about the shape of your teeth, call Clearwater Family & Sedation Dentistry. With our team of experienced cosmetic dentists, you can have a beautiful, properly shaped smile with minimal discomfort and no wait time. We handle all procedures in-house, limiting the need for referrals and delays. Call to schedule your consultation today.

"I am so grateful for the caring staff at this place! I have a huge dentophobia and from me the time I called them, rescheduled 3 times (with several days notice each time out of respect for their business), to getting my smile back the staff at Clearwater went above and beyond any expectations I had. They made me feel like I was VIP and went to great lengths to comfort me. My whole family has found a dental provider for life. Thank you all so much, you are the best of the best!
